Dress codes should be required. A lot of people would disagree, but this is my opinion. A reason why I think dress codes should be required is that, who would want to come to school inappropriately? Many people would probably want to, but I myself, wouldn’t. Dress codes are here for a reason to protect students from creepy people. A lot of people also do agree with the dress code because some people would feel uncomfortable if they saw others walking around in inappropriate clothes, it would be weird too. I think that if students were able to dress how they like it would be nice, but I still think that the dress code is safer for many. Dress codes are important for many schools but even though some dress codes suck a lot they are there to protect students and make them feel comfortable. These dress codes also may apply to the teachers so students need to realize they aren’t in it alone even though it may suck it many ways. I don’t think it would be a good idea if there weren’t any dress codes since nobody wants to see others dressed in odd ways. Though people have different styles that schools may not accept I still think the dress code is a good thing. If students were to realize the dress code was there to protect them, it wouldn’t be so difficult for others. The things people would wear without dress codes would affect others in many ways, making them uncomfortable, upset, disgusted and other feelings. If dress codes didn’t exist people would be walking around with their parts hanging out. Which nobody wants to see, its gross. All of this is just my opinion and I hope you understand why I feel this way.
